Veno Supercar from Poland or Simply Put, Lamborghini Reventon Replica

Veno Automotive is a new car company from Poland controlled by the UK-based private equity fund Heros Capital. In spite of being a newbie, the Polish firm has revealed an ambitious plan to build a limited production supercar that has yet to be named. We’ll simply call it the Reventon Replica as despite Veno’s ramblings about a unique design inspired from jet fighters, it doesn’t take a car guru to see that it’s a total Lamborghini knock off.

According to Vento, the supercar will compete against the best of the best including Ferrari, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, Koenigsegg, Ascari and Pagani. And how do they intend to that – apart from forging the Reventon’s design that is? First of all, the Polish firm says that it has developed a high-tech chassis capable of handling over… 1,000 HP.

Moreover, the Polish supercar that will be available in coupe and roadster versions will also feature a carbon fiber body parts and brake discs along with an array of gadgets like a night vision camera with pedestrian detection, onboard computer with internet access and doors that open with the touch of a button. Power will come from three versions of the Audi’s 4.2-liter V8 engine developing 350, 450 and 700 HP. -Continued

Vento supports that in 2009 it will also offer the ability to choose from an array of Corvette C6 engines including the Z1’s LS9 6.2-liter supercharged V8 (did anyone ask GM?). And since it’s all talk, allow us to inform you that Vento has also begun research on an electric-powered version of the supercar equipped the latest generation batteries. The Polish firm says that it plans to hand build a total of 50 examples (up to 10 - 12 units a year). As they say, a little day-dreaming never hurt anyone – that is unless Lamborghini's execs take a look at these designs…

Thanks for the tip Robert!

Amazing: Home-Made Batmobile Tumbler Replica!

Believe it or not, this staggering working replica of Batman’s current generation Batmobile Tumbler (see video here) was built from scratch in a house garage by Bob Dullam. Even more impressive is the fact that Dullam, who makes specialty costumes, props, and statues for a living, created the Tumbler without the use of blueprints as the only references he had were photos of the car that he downloaded from the internet.

Batmobile TumblerAccording to Dullam, the project cost him in materials somewhere between $50,000 and $70,000. As you can see in the pictures after the jump, Dullam also made a Batman suit to go with the car.

And that’s not all as the talented builder said that he has already begun working on the Batpod from “Batman Begins” and “The Dark Knight”. Guess we all know who the real “Boy Wonder”…is!

Ford Mustang Turned into Dodge Charger Convertible…

Mopar and Ford fans alike are really going to get a kick out of this one. For reasons beyond our understanding, the owner of this Darwinian creation decided to stick the face of a new Dodge Charger onto his previous generation Ford Mustang Convertible. We only have one question for you; should this beasty creation be called the Fodge Chustang or Dord Mustarger? -More pics after the jump

Japanese Magazine Builds a 2009 Nissan 370Z Replica!

Those chaps over at Japanese car magazine Best Car must have too much free time in their hands. Instead of publishing a set of spy shots or renderings of the forthcoming 2009 Nissan 370Z, BC went ahead and commissioned a 1:1 scale replica of the model based on the current 350Z! The 370Z replica was built by Mad House in Shizuoka prefecture that employed the leaked teaser shots of the model as a base for the coupe's appearance.

The Japanese tuning house replicated 370Z looks by using fiberglass for the creation the front and rear end of the car. Since the headlights were too hard too create from scratch, Mad House came up with a simple solution using custom-made stickers! -More pics after the jump

BMW Z8 Replica Kit Using a BMW Z4 Roadster as a Base

We don’t know how this BMW Z8 replica might look in person, but it could have fooled us in these pictures. Created by a company named “Car Kit” in Alabama, the BMW Z8 replica pack is based on the current BMW Z4 and it consists of a 5-piece fiberglass bodykit that includes front-clip, rear-clip, trunk lid, outer door panels and the hood along with front and rear lights. The bodykit costs $5,995 or 3,840 while the front and rear light lenses without projectors or bulbs, $1,000 or €640 ($125 a piece).

The company says that you can own a completed BMW Z8 Replica for around $14,000 which includes $6,000 for a salvageable BMW Z4 donor car, plus $7,000 for the bodykit and lights, $500 for paint material and $500 for miscellaneous things. It goes without saying that this price is if you do all the work yourself. We must add though that, letting aside the fragile nature of convertibles/roadsters when it comes to accidents, a salvageable BMW Z4 Roadster costing around $6k will most probably need a lot more than body work. -Continued

But just for the sake of conversation, let’s say you found a salvageable BMW Z4 Roadster; would you restore it to its original condition or would you go and create a BMW Z8 Replica?

If you’re interested in the BMW Z8 Replica kit, you can contact CAR KIT INC. (10735 US HIGHWAY 431, ALBERTVILLE AL 35950-0142) at 256-891-2030.
