Baby Maserati Sports Coupe Scooped?

That Maserati is planning to build a new sport coupe that will fit right under the GranTurismo, is something that we’ve been hearing a lot lately. Now, thanks to a watchful reader at our Italian buddies at Autoblog.it, we could be seeing the first image of the prototype version. Even though the phone camera picture is a tad too small for any definite conclusions, the car viewed here looks a lot like a modified version of the GranTurismo. And for apparent economic reasons, the baby Maserati will be based on a modified version of the GranTurismo platform using a detuned version of its 4.2L V8 engine.

Hyundai Genesis 2008 NFL Super Bowl Commercials

We can’t say that we’re big football fans but if anything else, we’re definitely going to check out the halftime ads. Hyundai on its behalf will air two 30-second spots during the third and fourth quarters of the Super Bowl game that will broadcast in Sunday, February 3, 2008.

Hyundai's purchase of the two spots during marks the Korean company's first Super Bowl advertising effort since 1989 and they have every reason to since they will be promoting one of their most ambitious projects, the mid-size , RWD luxury sedan, Genesis. Both TV spots aim directly towards the BMW and Mercedes-Benz, referring to the Genesis as capable as a 7-Series but priced as a 3-Series. -Check out both videos after the jump

Mercedes-Benz S350 Driver Gets Too Ambitious

Agreed; the Mercedes-Benz S-Class is made like a tank, but one should not take that literally… This fella apparently felt like the king of the road before loosing control of his Mercedes-Benz S350 somewhere in the beautiful city of Prague (capitol of the Czech Republic). As you can see in the pictures, he came to a full stop right on top of the cement road blocks. -More images after the jump
